by Matthew Terelle | Twins Correspondent | Sat, Aug 24th 8:02am EDT

Minnesota Twins right-hander Jose Berrios cruised through the first five innings of a 9-6 loss to the Tigers on Friday. The sixth inning didn't go so well as he allowed five runs, punctuated by a grand slam off the bat of Ronny Rodriguez. Berrios wound up pitching 5 1/3 innings while striking out five.

Fantasy Impact:

Overall, it has been an excellent season for Berrios but he has started to cool off of late. He now has a 10-7 record, 3.53 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 155 strikeouts over 163 innings of work. He will see the White Sox in his next start.
