It was originally reported as a maintenance day off for Trout on Wednesday, he actually sat out due to a sore foot. The injury doesn’t seem to be serious as he is expected back in the lineup Friday. Despite the sore foot, Trout continues to rake as he is slashing .286/.423/.631 with eight home runs, 21 runs, 14 RBI, and two stolen bases in his last 23 games.
