Anthony DeSclafani (9-8) took the tough-luck loss Monday against the Phillies, allowing four runs on three hits and two walks across seven innings. He struck out eight.

DeSclafani pitched well Monday, but was burned by the long ball, as he allowed two two-run home runs. This breaks his streak of three straight starts allowing one or fewer runs. On the season, DeSclafani has a 4.10 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP in 142.2 innings. He lines up to face the Diamondbacks at home on Saturday.
