Vince Velasquez takes no-decision in short outing Tuesday

by Mike Maher | Phillies Correspondent | Wed, Sep 4th 12:04pm EDT

Phillies starter Vince Velasquez allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out five over three innings in a no-decision against the Reds on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Velasquez was at 67 pitches after three innings, and Phillies manager Gabe Kapler apparently didn't like what he saw and decided to ride a fresh bullpen for the rest of the game. It turned out to be the right decision as the Phillies went on to win 6-2.
