Frankie Montas getting ready for late-season return

Frankie Montas (suspension) has been working out at the Athletics’ spring training facility in Arizona since July preparing for a late-season return. He is eligible to come back to the majors September 25th. (Vic Cotroneo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
As an 80-game suspension comes to a close, Montas will be eligible to return to action in the minors September 10th. He won’t have sufficient time to stretch out for a starting role, but could provide a big boost to the Athletics bullpen. Since the suspension kept Montas off the 40-man roster beyond August 31st, he won’t be eligible to pitch in the playoffs. Leave him on the waiver wire for redraft leagues, but Montas is an excellent hold in dynasty and keeper league formats.
