Gio Gonzalez allowed one run on two hits and two walks over five innings Saturday against the Cubs. He struck out three and did not factor into the decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez had good stuff working Saturday, and exhibited solid control, only allowing a solo homer to Addison Russell. He now owns a 3.98 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 63:34 K:BB in 72.1 innings this season. He'll take on the Marlins next on Thursday.
