Adam Wainwright (11-9) picked up the win Saturday against the Pirates, allowing one run on six hits and one walk across seven innings. He struck out three.

Since being batted around on August 26, Wainwright has given up one run in his last two starts combined. He now owns a 4.16 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 134 strikeouts in 149.1 innings this season. He'll take on the Brewers next Friday at home.
