From a physical appearance standpoint, Pablo Sandoval has not missed any meals in the offseason. How much weight he loses from now til the start of the season will likely affect his play to a degree. (Baseball Swag on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Panda has routinely packed on the pounds during his off time and he doesn't appear to be changing anything now that he's in Boston. He'll be counted on to be the nimble Panda at 3rd, but he's always been at his best when he's on the lighter side. Keep an eye on his physique leading up to the season and don't be surprised if he's swinging and missing more than normal if he doesn't shed a few pounds.
