Edwin Encarnacion left Game 1 of Thursday’s doubleheader against the Tigers with an apparent wrist injury. (Bryan Hoch on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Encarncion had his wrist injury looked at after his fifth inning walk and was replaced in the lineup by Mike Ford. Encarncion homered and walked before exiting. The move is precautionary and he will most likely sit for Game 2 of the doubleheader.
