Chicago White Sox closer Alex Colome gave up an unearned run in his one inning of work in a 6-3 loss to the Royals on Thursday. Colome walked one and struck out one in the frame.

It wasn't a save situation but Colome hadn't pitched since September 8, so he was out there to get some work. The veteran closer has a 4-3 record, 2.45 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 26 saves, and 47 strikeouts in 55 innings this season.
