Mike Trout (toe) is scheduled to undergo season ending surgery later this week to remove the Morton’s neuroma in his right foot. (Los Angeles Angels PR on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

After being shut down for more than a week with the toe injury, Trout ultimately opted for surgery to relieve the issue all together. The Angels won’t have a timeline to Trouts return to action until after the surgery is completed. Trout finished with another MVP type campaign slashing .291/.438/.645 with 45 home runs (career high), 104 RBI, 110 runs scored and 11 stolen bases in 134 games.
