Brandon Woodruff was activated ahead of Tuesday's game against the Padres. He started the contest and tossed two scoreless innings while walking one and striking out four.
Sidelined since July 21 with an oblique injury, Woodruff looked to be in great shape on Tuesday, striking out four batters in two innings. He'll look to continue his stellar season in which he's posted a 3.69 ERA 140 strikeouts in 119.2 innings. It's unclear when he'll take the mound next, as he seems to be stretching out to a fuller workload.
