Miles Mikolas (9-14) took the loss Tuesday against the Nationals, allowing three runs on eight hits and one walk across six innings. He struck out four.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a pretty typical 2019 start for Mikolas, who has taken a step back since turning in a solid 2018 season. He's fairly efficient with his control and pitch count, but lets up too much hard contact. On the season, he owns a 4.29 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 176.1 innings, while recording 140 strikeouts. He has a pivotal matchup on the horizon, a Sunday afternoon start against the Cubs.
