Mets starter Jacob deGrom tossed seven shutout innings in Wednesday's win over the Miami Marlins, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out seven. The win brings him to 11-8 on the year.

deGrom finished the year with 21 straight shutout innings over his final three starts, earning wins in two of them. He closes things out with a 2.43 ERA and 255 strikeouts over 204 and could be headed for his second straight Cy Young Award.
