Trent Thornton gives up just one hit in win over the Rays

by John Aubin | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sun, Sep 29th 7:38am EDT

Trent Thornton allowed only one hit over five scoreless innings in a win over the Rays on Saturday. He struck out eight and walked four.

Fantasy Impact:

Thornton has been inconsistent this year in his first season in the majors. The rookie finishes with a 6-9 record with a 4.84 ERA over 29 starts (32 games). Thornton has a good chance of winning a role in the Jays rotation in 2020.
