Alex Colome blows third save on Saturday

by Matthew Terelle | White Sox Correspondent | Sun, Sep 29th 8:03am EDT

Chicago White Sox closer Alex Colome was unable to protect a 2-1 lead in his team's 4-3 loss to the Tigers on Saturday. Colome served up a three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to blow his third save of the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Overall, Colome has had an excellent season, posting a 4-5 record, 2.80 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 30 saves, and 55 strikeouts in 61 innings of work. He should have a firm grip on the closer role for Chicago heading into the 2020 season.
