Anthony Rendon offered seven years and $215 million by Nats

by Brendan Tuma | Angels Correspondent | Mon, Sep 30th 7:19pm EDT

The Washington Nationals have reportedly offered Anthony Rendon a seven-year contract worth between $210 million and $215 million. (Washington Post)

Fantasy Impact:

Per the Washington Post, the Nationals reportedly made this offer back in early-September and it doesn't appear that it was accepted. The proposal apparently involved some deferred money, similar to the one Washington gave to Max Scherzer. Rendon is set to become the top position player available in free agency once the World Series ends and it looks like the Nats are interested in retaining him.
