Allen Craig looks stronger in batting practice

Allen Craig continues to look good in batting practice. That isn't necessarily telling but he clearly has a better base and stronger swing now that his left foot is fully healed. “There’s much more life in the bat,†manager John Farrell said. (Boston Globe)
Fantasy Impact:
Allen Craig had a down year last year after two strong seasons with the Cardinals in 2012 and 2013. Part of the problems could be blamed on a foot injury that never properly healed. It sounds as if it is fully healed now and Allen Craig is completely healthy. This could be a bounceback year for him and could be a sleeper pick later in the draft. The main question coming into the season is how much playing time will Craig get? Hopefully spring training will sort things out and make it clearer what Craig's role with Boston will be.
