Fantasy Impact:
Villar is projected to make $10 million arbitration. After the Orioles were unsuccessful moving him prior to the non-tender deadline, the team surprisingly decided to put him on waivers. He slashed .274/.339/.453 with a career-high 24 home runs and 40 stolen bases across 162 games last year. Villar should draw interest from plenty of teams and his fantasy value should remain the same as long as he is able to obtain everyday at-bats.
