The San Diego Padres are deep into talks to acquire outfielder Tommy Pham for outfielder Hunter Renfroe and top prospect Xavier Edwards, according to a report from MLB insider Jeff Passan. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While Renfroe has flashed potential, he has not exactly lived up to the expectations of most scouts. A move to the Rays would give him a change of scenery and a move to a more hitter-friendly home ballpark, which could positively affect his fantasy value.
