Tommy Pham was traded from the Rays to the Padres on Thursday in exchange for Hunter Renfroe and Xavier Edwards. (Bob Nightengale on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The deal will be completed, pending physicals. Pham has belted at least 21 homers in his last three seasons and stole a career-high 25 bases in 2019. He slashed .273/.369/.450 with 21 home runs, 68 RBI, 77 runs and 25 stolen bases across 654 plate appearances. Pham will replace Hunter Renfroe in the outfield and figures to see everyday at-bats for a solid Padres lineup.
