Blake Treinen, Dodgers agree to one-year contract

by Brendan Tuma | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Dec 11th 6:51pm EST

ESPN's Jeff Passan reports the Dodgers are signing free agent reliever Blake Treinen to a one-year, $10 million contract. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Passan adds that Treinen also had offers in a similar range but wanted to go to Los Angeles. Treinen was a colossal bust in 2019 after pitching as the best reliever in baseball the season prior. He'll begin the 2020 campaign as a set-up man for the Dodgers and could eventually see save chances if Kenley Jansen misses time.
