The Philadelphia Phillies fell to the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday by the score of 4-2. One of the two runs was knocked in by Carlos Ruiz, who is still without a hit this spring. His 0-for-4 at the plate puts him at 0-for-9 this spring.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz is still a solid veteran catcher, but is not a big threat with the bat. He is also 36 years old and has only played 130 or more games once in his career. Expect Ruiz to play between 110 and 120 games and be a decent option as a second catcher in most leagues.
