Anthony Rendon, Angels reportedly in 'active talks'

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that the Los Angeles Angels are in "active talks" with free agent third baseman Anthony Rendon. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)

Rosenthal adds that the Angels are trying to get this deal done tonight. There are no financial terms just yet but Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News adds that the Rangers are no longer in on the star third baseman. Rendon could be joining Mike Trout in southern California by the end of the night. Stay tuned.
