Fantasy Impact:
As Heyman notes, it was terrible timing for Betances, who hits free agency coming off a lost season. Still, the elite RP is expected to be ready for spring training, and he'll look for a get-right contract in order to hit the free agent market again in 2021 and hopefully cash in on a long-term deal. If he's healthy, Betances will once again be one of the few non-closers considered in standard leagues given his elite ratios and strikeout upside.
