Edwin Encarnacion sidelined with back inflammation

Edwin Encarnacion is expected to miss four to five days due to inflammation in his lower back. Tuesday's MRI results showed no structural damage but the power hitting third baseman will shut it down as a precaution. He has had back issues in the past, with the plan being to give him more AB's at DH. (MLB.com)

Encarnacion has never spent time on the DL due to back issues, so this is probably just some spring soreness. Let's see how he bounces back next week after he's rested it. Keep him toward the top of your draft list until further notice.
