The Nationals are reportedly going to give Carter Kieboom a chance to earn the everyday third base job. (NBC Sports Washington)

The Nationals have a hole at third base with Anthony Rendon now playing for the Angels. Washington signed Asdrubal Cabrera to a one-year contract but Kieboom is certainly the higher upside option of the two. The 22-year-old has mostly played shortstop in his pro career and looked overmatched as a hitter in the big leagues last year. Still, he is a name to monitor this spring as his minor league numbers are enticing.
