Royce Lewis went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, and three runs scored in the Twins' spring opener against the University of Minnesota on Friday.
The 20-year-old shortstop is considered one of the best prospects in baseball. Lewis had somewhat of a down season in 2019, batting .236/.290/.371 between High-A and Double-A. However, he rebounded in a big way in the Arizona Fall League en route to winning MVP. If he gets off to a strong start in Double-A again this year it wouldn't be a surprise to see him in the majors later this summer.
