Carlos Beltran was 0-3 in a split squad game against the Blue Jays and is hitting .125 this spring. He is rebounding from offseason elbow surgery and needs to regain his form to be a stable option.
Fantasy Impact:
Carlos Beltran has seen his OPS drop for the past four seasons and is coming off of an elbow surgery. He has been a top OF option before, and many see him regaining that form, but this spring performance is not indicative of a rebound. The positive is that he is playing the OF and getting through games with three at bats healthy; he needs to regain his bat speed before a rebound can be seen.
