Tommy John surgery has been recommended for New York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino, according to General Manager and Senior Vice President Brian Cashman. (Erik Boland on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Tommy John surgery is the absolute worst-case scenario, as it means that Severino will now miss all of 2020 and likely the beginning of 2021. He will surely head for at least one additional opinion before any decision is made, but he should be avoided in all drafts until any additional news is available.
