Jake Fraley homers on Thursday

by Caleb Baggette | Reds Correspondent | Fri, Feb 28th 1:18am EST

Jake Fraley went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two RBI in the Mariners 6-5 Cactus League loss to the White Sox on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Fraley hit leadoff on Thursday and made good use of it, batting in two off a sac-fly and a solo home run off a 101 MPH heater. The 24-year old is competing for the Mariners' starting right fielder position against Carlos Gonzalez among others. Even if Fraley wins the position, it won't be permanent, with the position ultimately being owned by Mitch Haniger, who will miss the start of the season with a back and core injury.
