Rowdy Tellez fighting for a roster spot this spring

Rowdy Tellez improved his training regimen and altered his hitting mechanics over the winter in an effort to secure a spot on the Blue Jays' 26-man roster this spring, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Tellez is in a battle with Travis Shaw for the starting first base job with the Jays this spring. The 24-year-old slugger hit .221 with 24 home runs and 54 RBI in 2019 and if he does make the team will only be worth owning in deeper fantasy leagues.
