Marlins starter Elieser Hernandez allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk while not striking out any batters over three innings in Wednesday's Spring start against the Houston Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Hernandez pitched to a 5.03 ERA last season but did manage to strike out 85 batters over 82 1/3 innings. If he can cut down on the home runs allowed and make strikes against left-handed hitters, he could be a nice depth starter in fantasy. However, until he shows he can do either of those things, he might do more damage than good to your staff in fantasy.
