Phillies starter Zack Wheeler allowed two earned runs on three hits and one walk while striking out two over 2 1/3 innings in Thursday's Spring Training outing against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Spring Training stats should always be taken with a grain of salt, but Wheeler's 8.31 ERA is definitely not what the Phillies were hoping to see after signing him to a five year, $118 million deal this offseason. In 2019, Wheeler struck out 195 batters over 195 1/3 innings while pitching to a 3.96 ERA with the Mets.
