Eric Hosmer went hitless on Friday in the Padres' 4-3 win versus the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Hosmer did knock in one run with a sac fly, but that was all. He's off to a sluggish start so far in the Cactus League, registering three singles in 17 AB. There's no threat to his role as the Padres' starting first baseman, and the veteran has plenty of time to get the bat going before the start of the regular season.
