Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola is expected to remain away from the team until at least Thursday due to the flu, but he could return and start on Friday if the next few days go as planned, according to The Athletic's Meghan Montemurro. (Meghan Montemurro on Twitter)

Any illness is a cause for concern with the current COVID-19 epidemic, but it sounds like Nola just has the flu and is on track to return. If he can return on Friday, it seems likely that he would be ready to start for the Phillies on Opening Day. Monitor his status over the next couple of weeks.
