Luis Gil gets optioned to High-A Tampa

Luis Gil was optioned by the Yankees to High-A Tampa on Monday along with fellow pitcher Luis Medina. (Yankees on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gil was added to the Yankees' 40-man roster in November to protect him from the Rule 5 draft, which allowed him to work in major-league camp during spring training. Gil finished with a 2.72 ERA and 123/47 K/BB ratio in 96 innings across 20 starts between Class A Charleston and High-A Tampa last season and remains a top prospect for the team.
