Kyle Tucker went 1-for-2 with a run scored in the Astros' 6-2 loss to the Nationals on Wednesday.
The most noteworthy aspect of Tucker's box score was that he played first base in this one. The outfielder worked out at first base a little bit last year before Yuli Gurriel fully seized the everyday job. Tucker is far more likely to play as an outfielder for the Astros this year, but being able to play some first base would only help. The 23-year-old is now 8-for-12 over his past five Grapefruit League games.
