Luis Cessa struck out seven batters in 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief in Grapefruit League action on Wednesday against the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Cessa was mentioned by general manager Brian Cashman early in February as a potential starter in the absence of James Paxton (back) and Domingo German (suspension), but manager Aaron Boone indicated that Cessa would pitch in relief. Cessa looks like he will be in a long relief role and will not be fantasy relevant.
