James Paxton (back) progressing well

by Brendan Tuma | Yankees Correspondent | Wed, Apr 1st 3:25pm EDT

Yankees pitching coach Matt Blake told reporters that James Paxton is progressing well from February spinal surgery. (Lindsey Adler on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Blake added that "overall, we feel really good about his progression so far". Paxton resumed throwing back on March 11th, just a couple of days before spring training was suspended. This is obviously good news for the 31-year-old southpaw, who should be ready to pitch whenever baseball resumes.
