GM Mike Elias told reporters that Trey Mancini is progressing well, but will be out for months, not weeks. There is no distinct timetable to report. (Dan Connolly of The Athletic)

It was initially thought that Mancini would be ready for Opening Day, whenever it was going to be scheduled. Now, Mancini figures to move back down draft boards as a result.
