Alex Verdugo (back) not progressing as quickly as hoped

Red Sox manager Ron Roenicke told reporters Tuesday that Alex Verdugo (back) has not been able to progress as quickly as hoped. (Chris Cotillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The main reason for this is due to spring training and the regular season being suspended by the coronavirus pandemic. Verdugo is able to run and swing a bat without issue but hasn't been able to resume baseball-related activities due to social distancing. Still, this time off should ultimately be a good thing for him as Verdugo was recovering from a stress fracture in his back that was suffered last August.
