Fantasy Impact:

Paxton continues to recover from a February procedure to remove a cyst on his back. It was reported last week that Paxton would be fully recovered by mid-May. Paxton has rehabbed well from back surgery and should be all systems go by Opening Day. He will throw more simulated innings before getting full clearance from the Yankees medical staff. Paxton is currently slotted to be second in the Yankees’ rotation behind Gerrit Cole. The 31-year-old is 75th among all pitchers in the latest expert consensus rankings.
