Fantasy Impact:
The 27-year-old had to have bone spurs removed from his elbow back in February but has already been throwing bullpen sessions. Mengden should be ready for action if/when the season resumes sometime this summer. He posted a 4.83 ERA in 59 2/3 innings with Oakland last year.
