Bobby Miller, Dodgers reach contract following MLB Draft

The Dodgers have signed their first-round pick, RHP Bobby Miller, to a deal that includes a $2.2 million signing bonus. (Jorge Castillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Miller was the 29th overall pick in this month's amateur draft. The slot value for that selection was $2.4 million, which means the Dodgers can allocate a bit of that money to the rest of their draft picks. Miller, a Louisville product, will begin his career as a starting pitcher. Spotty command could ultimately force him to the bullpen, however.
