John Brebbia underwent Tommy John surgery in May, per Cardinals' President of baseball operations John Mozeliak (Anne Rogers on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Brebbia dealt with elbow discomfort in Spring Training, and ultimately needed Tommy John surgery to correct the issue. He will miss the entire 2020 season. Brebbia played a key role in Cardinals' bullpen, recording a 3.59 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and a 87:27 K:BB across 72 2/3 innings in 2019. Ryan Helsley should see some additional work with Brebbia sidelined for the year.
