Whitley was added to the player pool and will be able to get work in during spring training 2.0. Whitley was dominant in the Arizona Fall League, owning a 2.88 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and a 32:9 K:BB across 25 innings. The 22-year-old may not make the 30-man roster in 2020, but figures to be a key member of the Astros’ rotation in 2021.
