The 32-year-old signed a one-year, $10.5 million contract with the Mets after making just one appearance for the Yankees in 2019. Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen says the team is "extremely excited" with how Betances looks. Expect him to serve as a setup man for Edwin Diaz should he remain healthy.
