Fantasy Impact:
Stanton suffered a Grade 1 calf strain four months ago, so it's a little unclear why he won't be ready to play the outfield. Perhaps the Yankees are being cautious. The 30-year-old slugger could wind up spending most of the season as the club's DH anyways as they have a plethora of serviceable outfielder. Both Stanton and teammate Aaron Judge remain risky fantasy bets heading into drafts.
