Fantasy Impact:

Mikolas strained a flexor tendon in his right forearm in March and will enter spring training 2.0 completely healthy. It was reported that he was throwing bullpen sessions and that "everything was going well" in his recovery. Mikolas is looking to rebound after a subpar 2019 campaign. He owned a (9-14) record, 4.16 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a 144:32 K:BB across 184 innings in 2019. Mikolas will be a bargain in 2020 fantasy drafts and is currently 103rd among all pitchers in the latest expert consensus rankings.
